FLANGE INSULATION KIT
Cathodic protection consists of the controlled use of the electrochemical corrosion principle to protect Pipe-line, tanks and other submerged equipment. Piping or equipment to be protect should be electrically insulated from the rest of the system to prevent The flow of galvanic current to a non-protected area. Zinc anodes are installed in sufficient quantities to absorb the galvanic current. These anodes are consumed in the process and should be replaced periodically.

Insulation Kit For Flanges Consists of :
– Gasket phenolic reinforced rubber
– Insulating sleeves
– Insulating washer
– Metal washer

The total gasket thickness is 1/8 in (3.2mm) other materials used are compressed sheet, PTFE and filled TFE Insulations Sleeve are available in either Polyethylene or reinforced phenolic or insulator Material with a 1/32 in (0.8mm) insulating washers are supplied in either reinforced phenolic or special compressed sheet with 1/8 in (3.2mm) thickness metal washer are supplied in 1/8 in (3.2mm) thickness steel and plated or galvanized for rust protection.
